The summer is well and truly here, and camping is definitely one of the cheapest and most fun ways to enjoy time together as a family. You’ve got your tent, and a barbeque for dinner time, but what will your toddler sleep in?
There didn’t used to be many options for sleeping, but now there is so much stuff available for toddlers to sleep in. Travel cots are quite popular, but they are quite heavy. Putting them up and down during each journey can quickly become a chore as well.
Blankets are the other common option, but they have a problem that your child may throw the covers off and become cold during the night. And we all know what will happen then.. they will wake up crying, and wake up the whole campsite in the process - how embarassing!
That’s why toddler sized sleep sacks are such a great option. They are very easy to transport, and you can easily cool your child down or warm them up by adjusting the zip. There is far less chance of your child becoming chilled because they have thrown the blankets off themselves too.
